Raising funds for Hamrahi, APLI

APLI 2017 fundraiser Alan and Gabe

Fundraiser, 30th April, 2017

Thanks to friends and family and local community, we had a great outcome, raising over $1500 from sales, donations and raffles.

There was genuine interest in the story of palliative care in India and concern about the lack of access to essential pain medications.

We showed a draft edition of Hippocratic, the story of Professor Rajagopal.

We hope this event will be the first of many.

Hippocratic film screening in the Macedon Ranges, at Baringo, Gisborne, Saturday 21st October

APLI joins other host organisations across Australia in hosting Dr MR Rajagopal and Hippocratic, the biographical documentary about the life and work of this inspirational leader in palliative care.

We are hosting this event at Baringo, a local cinema and restaurant complex, Gisborne, as a fund and awareness raising event for Pallium India.

Tickets are limited to 30 people due to the size of the cinema.
